SPECIAL TO THE VINDICATOR Walking Together, an annual event presented by the Alzheimer Network, is scheduled for Saturday at Canfield Fairgrounds, 7265 Columbiana Canfield Road, with registration beginning at 8:30 a.m. The first 100 walkers to sign up will receive a T-shirt. There will be basket and 50-50 raffles and prizes for children and adult walkers. Coffee, doughnuts and fruit will be available. Families are encouraged to walk in honor or in memory of a loved one. Proceeds will support local services for families dealing with Alzheimer’s disease. The network is a nonprofit volunteer organization. To register for the walk, call 330-788-9755.
