SPECIAL TO THE VINDICATOR Students in Cinda Lude’s kindergarten class at Joshua Dixon Elementary School in Columbiana recently participated in a virtual African safari through the live-video call program, Skype, hosted by SafariLIVE School Session. A guide in South Africa led the video call by driving a car through brush, looking for wildlife. The class saw warthogs, antelope, a two-foot long water lizard, giraffes and elephants during the 45-minute call. SafariLIVE is free, and is provided by WildEarth, a nonprofit group with the mission of sharing nature experiences with people around the world.
