SPECIAL TO THE VINDICATOR West Branch High School students participate in the One Book One Community project each year, which involves reading a certain book, community discussions and meeting the author. The project is not limited to schools, and The Alliance Review, Sebring High School and Rodman Public Library are project partners. West Branch students participated in an essay contest for the project. The winners, Regan Cross, a senior, left, and Alliesha Binius, a junior, will have their essays published in The Alliance Review. This year’s novel was “The Life We Bury,” by Allen Eskens. Eskens spoke at the United Methodist Church in Alliance on April 6 and to West Branch and Sebring students April 7 at West Branch High School.
