SPECIAL TO THE VINDICATOR Youngstown Area Federation of Women’s Clubs will host the GFWC/Ohio Federation of Women’s Clubs on March 25 for the 2017 Northeast Ohio District Legislation Day. Members will celebrate the club’s successes and receive awards for 2016. This year’s theme is “Volunteering – A Work of Heart,” and featured speaker will be state Rep. Michele Lepore-Hagan, D-58th. Guests will be welcomed by Mary Witkowski, district president, and Catherine Campana, general chairman. The event will take place at Tippecanoe Country Club with registration from 10 to 10:30 a.m. followed by the meeting. The cost is $24 per person, and reservations must be made by Wednesday. Checks should be made payable to YAFWC and mailed to Campana, 5590 Sampson Drive, Girard, OH 44420.
