SPECIAL TO THE VINDICATOR Kiwanis Club of Youngstown installed Kathy Mock, center, as a new member during the Feb. 17 meeting. Carla Hunter, club president, left, and Chris McCarty, past lieutenant governor, presented a certificate of membership and Kiwanis pin to Mock. Mock is the director of education and initiatives for United Way of Youngstown and the Mahoning Valley. Kiwanis members volunteer and financially support local organizations dedicated to serving children. The club meets at noon Fridays at YMCA, 17 N. Champion St., Youngstown. Guests are welcome.
