The Poland Relay for Life recently finished its 2017 season with an event featuring this year’s survivors, who led the opening lap. They accompanied their caregivers to a complimentary meal. Last year, the Poland Relay reached its goal of $53,000. This year’s goal is $55,000, and so far, the teams have raised $54,102.64. The teams have until Aug. 31 to reach their goal, so fundraisers are planned for July and August. Please write Poland Relay for Life on the check memo line. The 2018 theme will be “Luau for Life.” Each team will select a tropical island as its inspiration.
