Down Syndrome Association of the Valley recently awarded $1,000 scholarships to three students who are pursuing post-secondary studies in fields that directly benefit individuals with Down Syndrome. The students are Ryan Jones, Howland High School, who plans to attend Case Western Reserve University; Rachel Williams, Canfield High School, who plans to attend Baldwin Wallace University; and Erin Pacalo, Upper St. Clair High School in Pittsburgh, who attends Ohio State University. DSAV commits to providing people with Down Syndrome and their families the resources needed to lead successful, productive lives. Pictured above from left are Jones, Williams and Pacalo.
