The Younger Women’s Task Force is a new group in the Mahoning Valley formed by and for younger women fighting for gender equality and social justice. Affiliated with the American Association of University Women, they form a diverse and inclusive group of activists, organizers, allies and professionals that is both local and nationwide. YWTF of Youngstown aims to achieve its goals through advocacy, education, volunteerism and research. Hoping to recruit new members who are interested in making a difference, an informational meeting regarding Title IX took place June 23 at the YWCA.
