SPECIAL TO THE VINDICATOR Gibson Insurance Agency recently hosted its fifth annual holiday giving campaign to recognize and award charity and volunteer organizations in the area. The agency created a Facebook poll for 10 nominated organizations with the goal of donating $10,000 to the charities. Youngstown-based Paw Platoon won first place and was awarded $5,000 by the agency. Home for Kids, Child and Family Solutions, won second place and received $1,000. The eight remaining organizations each received $500. Nominations for next year’s campaign can be sent to info@gibsonagency.com.
