SPECIAL TO THE VINDICATOR A High Tea Brunch on March 18 will commemorate the 31st annual Trumbull County Women’s History Celebration at the National Packard Museum, 1899 Mahoning Ave. NW. The national theme for the event is “Honoring trailblazing women in labor and business.” Attendants are invited to wear a favorite hat for guest speaker Patty Carver’s presentation “This Old Hat — Women of American History,” a one-woman musical performance. The event also will feature 50-50 and basket raffles. Doors open at 11 a.m. and the program will begin at noon. Tickets are $30 and are available by calling E. Carol Maxwell at 330-360-0901. Proceeds will fund a scholarship for a nontraditional female college student. Committee members preparing from the event, seated from left, are Esther Gartland, chairman, and Maxwell, reservations.
