Schools throughout the Mahoning Valley closed early Friday in the wake of the blizzard, which dropped temperatures by more than 10 degrees in less than 60 minutes. The overnight low was 13 degrees below zero. THese students fought the wind and snow as they walked home along Cooper Road.
