SPECIAL TO THE VINDICATOR: Struthers High School mock trial team recently competed in a tournament that qualified them for regional competition in Akron. There are two teams of eight that include prosecution and defense members on each team. The teams have been reviewing case law and preparing testimonies with local lawyers who have donated their time to the program. Above, students on the black team, in front from left, are Nia Daltorio and Manny Padilla. Below, on the red team, are Jenna Whited, Chris Heinrich, Kinsey Warren, Austin Fullerton, Michael Kennedy, Spencer Farkas, Steven Mraulak, Brook Scott and Matt Zanni. Struthers is the only mock trial team in Mahoning County and competes against Trumbull County schools at the district level.
