Greenbriar Healthcare Center recently requested “Who is your Hero?” nominations from staff, residents and community members. Greenbriar’s hero is a resident, Janice Guy, She was nominated by a staff member who has watched her accomplish things regardless of the challenges she faces. Guy, who taught history at Struthers High School for 25 years, also was nominated by a former student who is grateful for her guidance. Guy was rewarded with a trip to the beauty shop, and she was showered with gifts from the staff at Greenbriar. Above, Guy is shown being presented with her award. She thanked the staff for nominating her.
