SPECIAL TO THE VINDICATOR Legislation Day recently took place for General Federation of Women’s Clubs, Ohio, Northeast District at Tippecanoe Country Club in Canfield. The district represents seven junior clubs, one general club, three juniorette clubs and two city federations. Mary Witkowski, president, and Pam Vines, junior director, welcomed the representatives. Catherine Campana, chairman of the Youngstown Area Federation of Women’s Clubs, and YAFWC members were the hostesses. Michele Lepore-Hagan, state representative of Ohio House District 58, discussed women in politics and her path to the statehouse. Victoria Ruse-Ebert, Operation Smile, a partner of GFWC and formerly of Austintown, also was a guest speaker. Witkowski and Vines presented district awards to several clubs for volunteer programs and projects. In front, from left, are Judge Cheryl L.
