SPECIAL TO THE VINDICATOR The 47th annual Champagne Luncheon and Fashion Show, hosted by GFWC Ohio Warren Junior Women’s League, raised $15,500 for the Children’s Rehabilitation Center in Howland. The theme was “Christmas through the eyes of a child,” and took place at St. Demetrios Banquet Center. Mary Lou Jarrett, left, luncheon chairman, and Julie Vugrinovich, right, recently presented the check on behalf of WJWL to Mike Crogan, executive director of CRC. The donation will be used by the center’s Children with Courage Fund so that no child will be turned away because of the family’s inability to pay.
