SPECIAL TO THE VINDICATOR AMVETS Post 44 recently hosted veterans who are residents at Maplecrest Nursing Home, Struthers, and Sunrise Assisted Living, Poland, at Texas Roadhouse in Boardman. Jan Brown, right, commander of the post and AMVETS National third vice commander, presented an afghan to a veteran during the dinner, which was accepted on his behalf by a residential aide from Sunrise.
