SPECIAL TO THE VINDICATOR The Home Savings Charitable Foundation recently donated $3,218 to Trumbull Mobile Meals to fund the purchase of an automatic meat and vegetable slicer. Gussie Reed, left, vice chairwoman of the board for TMM, received the check from Andrew Nemergut, retail manager of Home Savings Eastwood office, with Rebecca Edwards, CEO of TMM, and Barbara Petiya, grant writer for TMM. The mission statement of Mobile Meals is “No person goes hungry.” The organization is dedicated to serving those in need who cannot drive to a meal site or food distribution center.
