SPECIAL TO THE VINDICATOR East High School Class of 1956 celebrated its 60th reunion Aug. 27 at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Basilica social hall in Youngstown. Classmates traveled from California, Virginia, Maryland and Florida. Those attending the event, in front from left, are Barbara Belcher Charles, Donna DiVito Maiorana, Frank Corso, Leonard Howie, Joseph Catullo, Joseph Huda and David Howell. In row two are Judy Dragoui Saadey, Roseann Walley Schwartz, Fran Bell Sikora, Judy Caruso Jenkins, Phyllis Camardo DeMain, John Congemi, Ida Sewell Coleman, Shirley Fleming Parker and Mary Ann Wydick Bellino. In the third row are Rebecca Cello Disbennett, Thomas Kelty, Dominic Appulese, Fran Canale Pascarella, John Mascarella, Sadie Foster Lewis, Gina Bevilaqua Scudieri, Carol Lynn Price, Cosmo Pecchia and Anthony Smaldino. And in row four are James Caicco, William Lipka, Charles Schaeffer, James Lucarell, William Martin, William Fisher and Nick D’Alesio.
