SPECIAL TO THE VINDICATOR The Lions Clubs International Centennial bus visited Boardman on Sept. 21 as part of its tour of Lions clubs in select communities. LCI President Chancellor Bob Corlew met with volunteers to discuss critical service needs for the future of the organization as it marks 100 years of service. The bus will continue to tour through 20 Midwest and Eastern states including Washington, D.C., and also will make a stop in Ontario, Canada. The centennial celebration began last June in Fukuoka, Japan, and will end next summer in Chicago at the international convention. Up to 50,000 Lions are expected to attend the convention where a new area of focus will be revealed. For information on local Lions, visit www.lions13oh4.org.
