Novmeber 25, 1986 -- Annual 'feast' attracts many who are in need..The line formed early -- some showed up as early as 90 minutes before hand -- as First Presbyterian Church of Youngstown held its annual "Thanksgiving Celebration" feast for needy residents of the area. In all, 627 people came to enjoy a free ham dinner Tuesday afternoon at the church, Wick Avenue at Wood Street. Among the trimmings was pumpkin pie, being dished up by, at left: Ginny Jones, chairman for the dinner, and Dulcie Irving, church membership secretary. Musical entertainment was added to the festivities this year, and buses provided free transportation to the church from a variety of location around the city,. Funding for the meal is provided entirely by donations from church members, who also prepare and serve the food. Last year, more than 700 partook of the free dinner...The Vindicator/ Choo H. Ng
