SPECIAL TO THE VINDICATOR The Niles Chapter of the American Sewing Guild had its 14th annual style show, “The Extravaganza,” on April 30 at A La Cart Catering in Canfield. Prizes were awarded for best garment, best quilt and best miscellaneous item. Winners, from left, were Patti Augustine for her sewing-related embroidered quilt, Barbara Rosier-Tryon for a coat made of neoprene fabric and Denise Cline for her hand-painted pillow. Since the Niles Chapter will be celebrating its 25th anniversary, prizes were also awarded for items made 25 years ago. First place went to Barbara Springer; second, Sandy Rosier; and third, Pam Sullivan.
