Lowry, left, is shown with Lions first vice president Kyle Miasek following his speech. Lowry shared information on Jubilee, located on Tod Lane in Youngstown in the city’s Brier Hill neighborhood, that consists of two acres with 40 fenced-in gardening plots. Volunteers dig up the plots for anyone to plant vegetables for their own use, and seeds or plants are provided for those who cannot afford them. Jubilee has 13 board members and an $800 budget. All Jubilee workers are volunteers who want participants to have the satisfaction of growing their own healthy food.
