SPECIAL TO THE VINDICATOR Kiwanis Club of Newton Falls conducted an essay contest with the cooperation of the seventh grade English teachers at Newton Falls Junior High School. The teachers selected the top 10 essays and from those, the NFHS Key Club, a high school branch of Kiwanis, selected the top six. The essays were to be persuasive and were written about the student’s favorite charity. The charities of the top six have received the names of students and copies of the essays. All 10 winners are included and seated, from left, are Stephanie Kover, Austin Cline, Jo Christy and Hannah Decker.
