SPECIAL TO THE VINDICATOR Boardman Poland Juniorettes recently packed and wrapped shoeboxes for Operation Christmas Child with toys, hygiene items and school supplies collected from family members and Boardman Poland Junior Women’s League members. The Juniorettes prepared 28 shoeboxes and will track the boxes online to see where they are sent to children around the world. Juniorettes is a service group for girls age 12 to 18 and is sponsored by the Junior Women’s League. Current members attend Struthers, Cardinal Mooney, Canfield, St. Nicholas and Ursuline schools. Upcoming projects include decorating a wildlife edible Christmas tree at Boardman Park, a Christmas party and delivering Christmas cards at Glenellen Assisted Living.
