SPECIAL TO THE VINDICATOR Maddie Glavic, an Austintown Fitch High School senior, presented a program about her recent trip to Germany through the Henniff Exchange program. This is the sixth year of the exchange between Mahoning County students and the German town of Henniff, near Cologne. Above are Ed Kalaher, Austintown Rotary president, and Glavic accepting a book that will be placed in Austintown Elementary School library in her honor. Girard native Chuck Andrean also visited the meeting with his wife Yong-He. He lives in San Diego and is a member of its Rotary Club, and he brought a banner to exchange with the Austintown Club.
