SPECIAL TO THE VINDICATOR | A Red Hat Luncheon presented by A String of Pearls will celebrate International Red Hat Day from 10:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. April 20 at the Mahoning Country Club, 710 E. Liberty St., Girard. Vendor shopping will be available from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m., and a buffet lunch will be served at noon. Attendees are invited to sing, dance and tell jokes. Everyone will receive a prize. There also will be a basket raffle, 50-50 raffle and a “Hattitude Stroll.” Tickets are $30 each, and reservations must be made by Friday to Erma Hart, 330-759-9331 or email harte41@aol.com.
