SPECIAL TO THE VINDICATOR | From left are, Bonnie Hood, Good Citizens chairman of the Mary Chesney Chapter of National Society of Daughters of the American Revolution; Daniel Bancroft; Hayden Coxson; Jaclyn Rowley; and Patricia Brandes, DAR regent. The society recently hosted a luncheon at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Warren and awarded scholarships. Bancroft earned first place and attends Badger High School. His parents are Virginia and David Bancroft. Second place went to Coxson who attends Hubbard High School and is the son of Kimberly and David Coxson. Rowley received third place and attends Niles McKinley High School. She is the daughter of Barb Rowley. Other students recognized as Good Citizens based on the qualities of dependability, leadership, service and patriotism were: Sara Baugher, Chalker High School; Nathan Hendryx, LaBrae High School; Ashly Lamosek, Bristol High School; Julia D’Amico, Lordstown High School; and Jordyn Patterson, Maplewood High School.
