SPECIAL TO THE VINDICATOR | The Austintown Optimist Club is sponsoring a wine tasting from 7 to 10 p.m. April 29 at the Saxon Club, 710 S. Meridian Road. Club members Dick and Nancy Stoy, above, recently sampled some of the wines that will be featured at the event. Food, a basket auction and a 50-50 raffle will be offered. Tickets are limited and the cost is $35 per person. All proceeds from the event will benefit the youth of Austintown for school activities including sports and scholarships.
