SPECIAL TO THE VINDICATOR The Inspiring Minds Youngstown Black Tie Affair took place May 9. The fundraiser gathered more than 400 local and regional business partners, community advocates and friends of Inspiring Minds, who showed their support for the organization’s new chapter. More than $150,000 was raised. The event featured dinner and dancing, auctions, a keynote address by Jim Tressel, and guest appearances by Ray “Boom Boom” Mancini, Bo Pelini and Maurice Clarett.
