SPECIAL TO THE VINDICATOR: Beatitude House will sponsor its 16th Annual Wine Taste and Auction at 5:30 p.m. May 1 at The Embassy, 5030 Youngstown-Poland Road, Boardman. The evening, hosted by Jeff Kelly of Oldies 106.1, will feature a gourmet dinner buffet, premium wines by local distributors, a live auction and silent and ticket auctions. New this year is a whiskey tasting from Cleveland Whiskey, Youngstown Vodka, wine and chocolate pairings and a dueling pianos performance. The deadline to make reservations is April 22. A variety of items will be auctioned, and attendees will have a chance to buy raffle tickets to win a $1,000 shopping spree at the Eastwood Mall Complex.
