SPECIAL TO THE VINDICATOR: At a recent luncheon meeting of the Canfield Rotary Club, four members of the Canfield High School Speech Team participated in Rotary’s annual 4-Way Speech Competition. Rotary’s 4-Way Test answers the questions: Is it the truth? Is it fair to all concerned? Will it build goodwill and better friendships? Will it be beneficial to all concerned? From left are Mia Battaglia, first place; Alex Kan, tied for third; Madelyn Urig, second place; and Jordan Audia, tied for third. Battaglia will compete March 21 in Canton with students representing the 47 participating Rotary Clubs in District 6650.

SPECIAL TO THE VINDICATOR: During the recent general meeting of the GFWC Ohio Warren Junior Women’s League, President Renee Maiorca and past presidents were recognized by Esther Gartland, Northeast District president; and Mary Lou Jarrett, the league’s second vice president and membership chairman. The keynote speaker was Krystal Culler, a trainer for Canine Companions for Independence, who was accompanied by Pepsi. The dog demonstrated his abilities to help those in need.
