June 12 marked the beginning of the term of new officers for the Rotary Club of Austintown. At left is veteran member Chuck Baker, who gave the charge of office to new President Mal Culp, right. Outgoing President Vince Colaluca received a plaque for his service presented by past President Mark Cole. Other officers installed were Ed Kalaher, vice president; Brian Frederick, treasurer; Rich Begalla, secretary; and John Mashiska, club service.

The Links, Inc., Youngstown Chapter inducted new members May 17 at the Youngstown Country Club. After the lighting of candles and presentation of inductees, Parliamentarian Sarah Brown-Clark and Vice President Krishmu Shipmon conducted the induction ceremony. A dinner honored the inductees, who received gifts from each club member. Above from left are Anne R. Cobbin, president; Allyson Wynn; Shelley English; Brenda Moore; and Shipmon. Other officers are Janice L. Beachum, recording secretary; Juanita Davis, corresponding secretary; Monica Hoskins-Vann, treasurer; and Margaret Staples, financial secretary. The inductees will be formally introduced Sept. 26 during the chapter’s 60th anniversary celebration at Leo’s Ristorante, 7042 E. Market St., Howland. Tickets can be purchased from any member.
