SPECIAL TO THE VINDICATOR The Rotary Club of Youngstown hosted its third annual Rockin’ Race for Cancer with students from Harding Elementary School on May 27 at The Rayen Stadium. Proceeds of more than $1,700 will support the Joanie Abdu Comprehensive Breast Care Center of Mercy Health and was presented to Dr. Rashid Abdu, founder of the center, and Jonathon Fauvie. special events/data manager of Mercy Health Foundation. Co-chairmen for the event were Tiffany Westbay, Louis Lee and Carol Sherman. Above, Lee gives free passes for OH WOW! to the top two fundraisers in each third, fourth, fifth and sixth-grade class from Harding. The passes were donated by OH WOW!
