SPECIAL TO THE VINDICATOR Students from Boardman and Fitch high schools, accompanied by Sieglinde and Larry Warren, exchange coordinators, visited Hennef, Germany, where they stayed in the homes of students they had hosted in the fall. The local students and their German hosts visited Beethoven’s home in Bonn, climbed the 533 Cologne Cathedral steps for a view of the city and visited the home of Anne Frank in Amsterdam, the Netherlands. This was the 10th year the exchange has taken place with the Gesamtschule, a school in Hennef. German students and teachers will visit this area for the Thanksgiving holiday. In front of Beethoven’s birthplace, from left, kneeling, are Veronika Heyder and Tim Weinberg, and standing are Sieglinde Warren, Antonia Seelbach, Janika Schmidt, Mike Dina, Joel Johnel, Destiny Odom, Lisa Winterberg, Bastian Kraemer and Marius Messerschmidt.
