SPECIAL TO THE VINDICATOR Bruce Laraway, a veteran member with job change issues, received honorary member status from the Rotary Club of Austintown at its June 29 meeting. Laraway’s wife and son Brian attended. Laraway promised to return as a full member when his job allows. The club also recognized two William Courtney Scholarship winners of $1,000 each for 2015. Cheyenne Haymond plans to enroll at the University of Toledo, and Chad Holmes plans to attend Muskingham University in the fall. Both were active in the Fitch Interact Club in high school and plan to join Rotaract clubs at their universities. This meeting was the last as president for Vince Colaluca, who is being followed by Mal Culp as Rotary president. Above from left are Colaluca, Haymond, Holmes and Gary Reel, Interact co-adviser.
