Bruce Laraway, a veteran member with job change issues, received honorary member status from the Rotary Club of Austintown at its June 29 meeting. Laraway’s wife and son Brian attended. Laraway promised to return as a full member when his job allows. The club also recognized two William Courtney Scholarship winners of $1,000 each for 2015. Cheyenne Haymond plans to enroll at the University of Toledo, and Chad Holmes plans to attend Muskingham University in the fall. Both were active in the Fitch Interact Club in high school and plan to join Rotaract clubs at their universities. Yvonne Ford, GFWC Ohio director of junior clubs, recently installed 2015-2016 GFWC Ohio Warren Junior Women’s League officers. Above from left are Cary Ann Koren, secretary; Jonnah Hetzel, treasurer; Rebecca Bucco, second vice president; Molly Halliday, first vice president; Mary Lou Jarrett, president; and Ford. Membership awards were presented for 15, 25 and 35 years of active membership.
