SPECIAL TO THE VINDICATOR —  The Ninth Annual St. Michael Parish Wine Taste Fundraiser will take place from 7 to 10 p.m. Feb. 6 at the Church’s Family Life Center, next to the church, at 350 N. Broad St. in Canfield. The event will feature wine and craft beer selections from eight purveyors and distributors from around Northeast Ohio, along with food service by Naffah Hospitality. Also featured will be a basket auction, a raffle and drawings for wine for a year. Tickets are $55 per person and can be bought from committee members or the parish office. SPECIAL TO THE VINDICATOR — The Western Reserve Amateur Radio Club recently installed officers and board members for 2015 at its annual banquet. From left to right are Kevin Stein, secretary; Joe Wojtowicz, vice president; Russ Williams, trustee; Roy Haren, president; Harry Harker, trustee; Jane Avnet, web mistress and club newsletter; Allan Avnet, past president; Maureen Stein, treasurer; and Steve Fabry, trustee.
