She spoke about UW’s main literacy programs and congratulated the Rotary on its dictionary project for third-graders, reading program for second-graders and the library donation project, in which Rotary guest speakers have a book in their name donated to the Austintown Elementary School Library. SPECIAL TO THE VINDICATOR — Holy Family Catholic School of Poland is sending seventh-grader Michael Appugliese to The Vindicator Spelling Bee. Appugliese correctly spelled the words “deficiency” and “insufficient” in the school’s annual spelling bee and will advance to the next round, The Vindicator Spelling Bee, coming up in March.
