SPECIAL TO THE VINDICATOR Salem Historical Society is offering two types of ghost tours. The Salem Ghost Trolley Tour will visit cemeteries and other haunted areas around Salem. There will be three opportunities to walk. The trolley ride is $15 per person and will be at 8 p.m. Saturday and Sept. 2, and at 6, 8 and 10 p.m. Oct. 3 and 17. The Salem Ghost Walk will take place rain or shine at 4 p.m. Oct. 3 and 17 and at 8 p.m. Oct. 23. The walk will take participants around the city and tell of Salem’s haunted past. The cost is $10 per person. Good walking shoes are recommended for both tours. All tours will meet at the Dale Shaffer Research Library meeting room, 239 S. Lundy Ave., Salem.
