On the second day of school, teachers and staff of Holy Family School in Poland participated in the ALS Ice Bucket Challenge. The challenge came from Mandy Sinchak, a kindergarten teacher. Several staff members from the elementary and middle schools took the challenge. Shari Sfara, center, a second-grade teacher, was dumped on by Lissa Oslin, also a second-grade teacher. Marilyn Hammerton, fifth-grade teacher, watches with amusement. The teachers and staff raised more than $350 to be given to Christine Terlesky, a retired Boardman teacher with ALS.
