Katie Rickman | The Vindicator.Boardman High School football team has begun using Ridell Impact Response System technology that allows the coaching staff to monitor and prevent concussions Wednesday, Sept. 17, 2014. Seen here is a device that coaches use to keep track of what the player is experiencing when coming in contact with other players. Inside 6 helmets, an electrical pad is inserted which allows coaches to monitor the players impact.
