Katie Rickman | The Vindicator.Boardman High School football team has begun using Ridell Impact Response System technology that allows the coaching staff to monitor and prevent concussions Wednesday, Sept. 17, 2014. Seen here is a helmet which has the electronic lining inserted, to the right is one of the inserts. Six helmets, an electrical pad is inserted which allows coaches to monitor the players impact.
