SPECIAL TO THE VINDICATOR Austintown Junior Women’s League recently attended the North East District Fall Conference of the General Federation of Women’s Clubs at the Magnuson Grand Hotel in Warren. A collection was made for Canines Companion for Independence, which helps provide a canine companion to a wounded veteran. They also elected officers, and AJWL was recognized for having the highest percentage of members attending. Seated, from left, are Kathy Rusback, Janice Simmerman and Shirley Schmidt.
