Melissa Kalaman, third from right, chairwoman of the Mike Hull Memorial Poker Run, presents a $2,300 check to Aundrea Cika, center, director of the Mahoning Valley Office of the Autism Society of Ohio, and Jen Gonda, third from left, also of the autism society. Some 60 motorcyclists participated in the second annual poker run and pasta dinner in August to benefit autism. Kalaman is the sister of the namesake of the event, established in 2013 to honor Hull, grandfather to a granddaughter on the autism spectrum. Proceeds will be used to establish a holiday family and minigrant program for Valley families. Others are committee members. Special to The Vindicator
