James L. Cardelein, left, was appointed district education officer for the 24th Masonic District during a recent meeting of Allen Masonic Lodge 276 in Columbiana. Installing officer was Kevin B. Todd, right, of Grand Lodge of Ohio. Cardelein is past master of Leetonia Lodge 401, Negley Lodge 565 and present master of Allen Lodge. He is a member of Scottish Rite of the Valley of Steubenville.
