SPECIAL TO THE VINDICATOR On Oct. 22, the staff and students at Joseph Badger Elementary School participated in a Pink Ribbon event for breast cancer awareness, organized by Caryn Ewell and Holly Blackburn. Staff, students and parents walked on the track for a half-hour with breast cancer survivors and a parent who is undergoing chemotherapy. Money raised during the mini-relay for life was presented at the Pink Ribbon Cheer Classic at YSU on Oct. 26.
