SPECIAL TO THE VINDICATOR The 10th Annual Walking Together event, sponsored by the Alzheimer Network, will take place from 9 to 11:30 a.m. Saturday at Canfield Fairgrounds, 7265 Columbiana-Canfield Road. Walkers can register by calling 330-788-9755 or at the fairgrounds at 8:30 a.m. the day of the event. Light refreshments will be provided, and it will take place rain or shine. There also will be raffles and a lunch canteen. Corporate sponsorships are available and families can walk to honor family victims. Members of the committee planning the event , from left, are Dorothy Barto, Carol Yarab, Mary Erb and Kathy Fynes, chairwoman. Velma Crawley also is a member of the committee.
