SPECIAL TO THE VINDICATOR Epilson Mu Omega and Delta Delta chapters of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority are sponsoring a Founder’s Day celebration from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday at Avalon Golf and Country Club at Squaw Creek, 761 Youngstown-Kingsville Road SE, Vienna. Founder’s Day Committee members, from left, are Dorothy Davis; Alnita Bryant Russell (now deceased); Deanna Brown; Annie Constant, president; Dr. Joan L. Boyd, chairman; Dr. Joanne Washington; and Theresa Yarboro. The event will include a fashion show, lunch and vendors. The cost is $30 each and tickets are available from any member of either chapter or call Dr. Boyd at 330-788-9873.
