A percentage of sales was donated to the Angels, a group dedicated to promoting the welfare of Easter Seals by providing volunteer services and assisting in fundraising for its programs. Easter Seals serves children and adults with disabilities and special needs in Mahoning, Trumbull and Columbiana counties. SPECIAL TO THE VINDICATOR — Showing their holiday spirit, members of the GFWC Ohio Warren Junior Women’s League Advocates for Children Committee hosted a Christmas party at Jefferson PK-8 School for students in the second grade. Members gave the children bags containing books, pencils, crayons, treats and Christmas stockings. The committee bought and wrapped the gifts to make the holiday extra special for the children.
