They pose for a photo next to the giving tree Thursday, Dec. 18, 2014. Despite McDermott being a teenage mom she has worked really hard to provide for her daughter while excelling academically. Recently she started a giving tree donation program to benefit the non profit organization in Warren that has helped her tremendously since she found out she was pregnant at 32 weeks.
